Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Campus Patrol in Darlington, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol designated tech, media, or telecom locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site procedures.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the location.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Document incidents and observations in daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Support the overall security-related operations at the location, adapting to the unique needs of a tech, media, and telecom environment.
