As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a leading tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, using electronic systems and manual verification processes as required.
Provide security-related customer service by following site-specific procedures and guidelines when interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities by coordinating with site representatives and Allied Universal management as appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and daily operations as required by the site.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding any security-related matters or concerns.
