About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Badge Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and managing access to the premises. Your focus will be on providing outstanding customer service, assisting with security-related inquiries, and helping to deter incidents through your presence. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional manner at the front desk of a technology-focused location.
Verify identification and manage access control for individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and access control panels to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate clearly with clients, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, issues, or concerns that arise at the front desk.
Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate logs and reports as required by site policies.
Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by management or emergency personnel.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with location-specific needs while maintaining a professional presence.
