About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol - Weekdays in Martin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and deliveries; log visitors and/or vehicles according to site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire-related events, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or public responders.
  • Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incidents; communicate updates to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
