As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access to the facility. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with guests and employees. Requirements

  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and granting entry as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any unusual occurrences.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide information related to site procedures.
  • Support efforts to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
