As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting guests, and providing outstanding customer service. By maintaining a visible and professional presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming environment that reflects Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and first aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk in a professional manner.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining sign-in logs as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and/or management regarding security-related matters, incidents, or unusual activities.
Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, visitor management systems, or surveillance cameras as required by the location.
Follow emergency response procedures and provide assistance during emergency situations as outlined in site-specific protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the location, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.
