You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or concerns, document activity, and deliver helpful customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

• Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Control access to the location by checking identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, issuing badges, and documenting deliveries and pickups as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, with working conditions varying by assignment.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, provide clear directions to others, and complete reports and logs according to location requirements.
