As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving docks, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying security-related concerns.
  • Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing traffic for trucks and delivery vehicles per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical calls, fire-related alerts, and facility disruptions, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Monitor cameras, intrusion and/or fire panels, and other security-related systems; document patrols and incidents in daily activity reports; and communicate observations clearly to supervisors and oncoming personnel.
