You will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and designated access points; verify credentials when required and direct visitors to appropriate check-in areas while helping to maintain orderly traffic flow.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation efforts and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report hazards and/or concerns.
  • Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document incidents, and communicate timely updates to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or client contacts per post orders.
