As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a vibrant retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, communicating findings to the appropriate personnel as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment.
Support the location's staff and guests by providing information, directions, and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
