About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Team in Lakewood, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Work collaboratively with store staff and management to address security-related concerns.
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
