Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols at a premier retail location. You will remain highly visible, interact with guests and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information and guidance as needed within the retail environment.
Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.
