As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license and involves interacting with customers and staff to provide outstanding service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or assisting with lost and found inquiries as needed.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding customers and staff during incidents or evacuations.
Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and uphold site-specific expectations.
