As a Security Officer - Main Lobby Desk in RICHFIELD, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, checking in visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and guiding guests to the right destination. You will monitor access points, watch cameras and/or alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate concerns to onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, confirming appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries, route calls or requests to the appropriate department, and communicate clearly with client personnel regarding security-related concerns.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required documentation and incident reports in a timely manner.
