As a Screener with Allied Universal at a bustling logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting X-ray screenings and managing access control. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

It is preferred that you are able to lift more than 20 pounds.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
It is preferred that you are comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor surveillance equipment and access points to observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior.
Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site management and local authorities as directed during emergency response activities and drills.
