As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to support daily operations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or drivers as required by the location's operations.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or suspicious activities as observed during shifts.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site management.
