As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.
Monitor and report any irregularities or unusual activity observed during screening or patrols.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment and provide assistance as needed.
