As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access control for employees, visitors, and vendors entering the facility, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns observed in the front desk area to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with managing visitor logs, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining an organized front desk environment.
Support emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors as needed, maintaining a professional and helpful presence at the front desk.
