About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Logistics in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and managing access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing temporary badges as required.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities when appropriate.
