Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Front Desk Full-Time in Lithia Springs, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive access control and exceptional customer service. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the secure operation of the facility. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a logistics and distribution facility.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occur at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
