As a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, monitor security-related activity through cameras and systems, and document incidents and requests with clear communication. Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have a guard card/license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Staff the front desk in a professional manner, greeting and directing visitors, vendors, and drivers while maintaining an orderly lobby and reception area.
Verify visitor identity, appointments, and access authorization, and issue visitor credentials per site policy.
Monitor and manage access control points at the front desk, including doors, turnstiles, and related security-related systems as assigned.
Screen and route incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, providing general information and escalating issues to the appropriate site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery logs, and support documentation requirements for audits and incident follow up.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical calls, and facility emergencies, and request assistance as needed.
Communicate clearly with operations, warehouse staff, and transportation teams to support traffic flow, check-in processes, and site access procedures.
Observe and report unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptions.
Operate and monitor CCTV and other security-related monitoring platforms as assigned, and report observations per site procedure.
Complete required daily reports, shift notes, and incident reports in a timely manner, using approved reporting tools and formats.
Provide guidance to visitors and contractors on site rules, personal protective equipment requirements, and restricted area controls, and notify site leadership of noncompliance.
