As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for people, property, and assets.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter loss, damage, or other unwanted activity.
Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and providing guidance to visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
Remain alert to changing conditions within the logistics and distribution environment and respond according to established procedures.
