As a Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols to Allied Universal and/or client management as required.
Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics and distribution location.
Provide support during emergency situations, following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal and/or client personnel as needed.
