As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, yards, trailer and truck areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, checking inbound and outbound vehicles, and directing drivers and visitors to appropriate areas per location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, coordinating with on-site contacts, and/or contacting emergency services when required.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.
