As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and care for people while adapting to dynamic work environments.

Requirements

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or have 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or have 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
