Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility Patrols in Sacramento, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including suspicious activities or hazards, to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist in controlling access to the premises by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and follow established procedures in the event of fire, medical, or other critical incidents at the location.
