Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Patrols in Lewiston Woodville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
X ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
