As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with individuals entering the location, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site protocols.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas as required for the screener post profile.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to the unique environment of a logistics and distribution location.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, working closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to established procedures.
