As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will greet team members and visitors, complete entry screening and access checks, support orderly visitor flow, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will stay visible at key points, respond to questions with customer service, and partner with site teams to help maintain smooth operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and data-driven location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and deliveries at designated checkpoints using approved screening methods and equipment while maintaining a professional, respectful approach.
• Verify identification, manage access credentials, and support visitor processing such as sign-in, badge issuance, and directing guests to appropriate contacts and/or locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols and/or roving checks of assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify policy violations or unusual conditions.
