Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and interacting with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into logistics and distribution facilities.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, contractors, and/or employees with access procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergencies or unusual situations.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
