Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Assist in implementing and following site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a logistics and distribution environment.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and guiding visitors and personnel regarding access protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary to appropriate authorities.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related events according to Allied Universal policies.
Support emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
