As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, patrol assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while remaining visible throughout your shift. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities observed during shifts.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
Operate access control systems and/or surveillance equipment as required by site procedures.
