As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our agile, reliable, and people-first values. Requirements

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals as needed while upholding security-related procedures.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures as directed.
