Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Assist in managing the flow of vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the premises to help maintain order and support security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related risks.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures to address security-related concerns.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and delivering information related to site policies and procedures.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or potential hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
