As an Access Control Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You'll use your communication skills to interact with staff and visitors, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized access to the location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, adhering to site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the warehouse and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to company and client requirements.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment within the logistics and distribution location.
