As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, adhering to site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or breaches of access control.
Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and/or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as needed.
