Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access logs, incidents, and any unusual activity observed during assigned shifts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Enforce site-specific policies and procedures, including those related to access control, deliveries, and restricted areas.
Assist with emergency response activities by following Allied Universal and client protocols, providing information and support to first responders when necessary.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues and support the overall security program at the logistics and distribution location.
