Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our commitment to teamwork, reliability, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit within the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the facility, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal staff to support emergency response activities when appropriate.
