About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Earth City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage badge access at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain proper access control procedures within the logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence.
Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers in a professional manner, assisting with access and directions as needed.
Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters at the location.
