As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and strong customer service skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining order. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or First Aid is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel to verify credentials and provide directions as needed.
Support Allied Universal and client management in maintaining a secure environment by following established protocols and collaborating with on-site teams.
