As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Specialist in Rosemount, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and managing entry points at a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the site by verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors in accordance with location-specific protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with questions about access procedures and site guidelines.
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures for emergency response and escalation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity and to help to deter security-related incidents.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal personnel to address potential security-related concerns and to maintain a secure environment for logistics and distribution operations.
