As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Specialist in Rosemount, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and managing entry points at a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the site by verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized personnel, vehicles, and visitors in accordance with location-specific protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with questions about access procedures and site guidelines.
Respond calmly and efficiently to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures for emergency response and escalation.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity and to help to deter security-related incidents.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site policies.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal personnel to address potential security-related concerns and to maintain a secure environment for logistics and distribution operations.
