About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Driver in Antioch, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional in an access control role within a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication skills provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through regular observation and reporting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any concerns.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to support a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.
