Requirements
- MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
- PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

- A guard card or license is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, maintaining accurate logs as required.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or employees in accordance with site-specific protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any suspicious activity.
- Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
- Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, collaborating with site personnel and emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare and submit detailed written reports on incidents, observations, and access control activities to Allied Universal management.
