As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This position is a driving post.   • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a logistics and distribution environment.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
