As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and complete routine patrols and reports using a computer or tablet. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly, and deliver customer-focused service while supporting loss prevention efforts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access at entry points by verifying identification and credentials, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and maintaining accurate access logs.
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, coordinating with site contacts to help support smooth dock and yard operations while following access rules.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns.
