As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, patrol designated areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide a welcoming presence, support customer service needs, and maintain clear communication with team members. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all access control activities and incidents.
Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, visitors, and team members regarding access control processes and any security-related matters.
