Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Lifting more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established procedures to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Monitor entry points and observe behaviors to identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following location-specific protocols.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities as required by site policies.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
