Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby with Active Clearance in Titusville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, document concerns, and communicate clearly while delivering a customer-focused experience for employees and visitors. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing badges and/or visitor credentials, and directing individuals to approved areas in accordance with site requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, supporting evacuations and/or shelter actions, and assisting first responders as needed.
- Complete reports and logs for patrols, access activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
