As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, and deliver strong customer service and communication to teams and visitors. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and/or policy violations.
- Control access by verifying identification and authorization, managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations according to site requirements.
- Complete detailed reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate key information to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership during shift turnover.
