About The Position

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Support front desk operations within a financial institution location by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior and/or conditions, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence and policy compliance.
Answer phones, provide directions, and assist with routine administrative and security-related documentation related to visitor processing, deliveries, and daily activity reports.
